Benni Hemm Hemm began his career in 2003 with the ep Summer Plate. In its wake Benni Hemm Hemm turned into a bigband which has over 4 dozens of members and with two longplayers to its name.

Cookies have published Benni Hemm Hemm's records in Iceland but the German Morr Music record company its outlet in the rest of the world.

Benni Hemm Hemm's first LP received the Icelandic Music Awards in 2005 as the best of the year. Kajak was the 2nd LP and it was nominated to the Icelandic Music Awards. Now we have the latest delivery of Ein í leyni, which is a Iceland only limited release.
